Blastoise

i think this is a much better starter to chose then charizard. i mean, with the first few gym leaders, you can win with Squirtle, charmander would get wiped out by brook and misty. not only that but Blastoise has a better design, a tortoise with cannons out his shell! awesome! charizard is just a flying lizard. and sure, alot of your people will say "but it's a dragon! it's super cool. lol" yeah, like we haven't had enough dragons that look the same.

though stats wise, charizard is stronger, but his typing and low defense would make him a easy target for Blastoise, not only because his fire, but also because of his flying type. Blastoise can learn ice and rock moves and would just one KO that reptile.

so yes, i think Blastoise is alot better Pokemon starter than charizard.
