XD You aren't being annoying, and you're not the first to ask either. Don't Worry.
I am going to draw comics with other pokemon besides the first gen, I'm just not sure how much. To draw them ALL in order like I'm doing with the first 151 would be a big task pluuuus I have only ever seen what was in leaf green/fire red and ruby as far as the new ones are concerned so I wouldn't know where to start with them. I might just draw out the new ones quickly and make fun of what they look like (its not like I can say anything else, I don't even know what half their types are) and if any work themselves into comics then so be it Point is, don't fret, the new ones are coming.
You can do next, second, generation as well. If we assume in first generation games used to be 190 pokemon which 40 were delayed into second generation games, you can easily draw those pokemon from second generation. 1st and 2nd generation pokemon are related. Both are alike. Both have their beginnings in similar manier and on both was working Ken Sugimori... While on those newer generations are working different people...
Yeah I didn't have that much fun with the later gens but I try to keep my opinions away from "LOL HURRDURR" as much as possible (not always successful, mind you). It's just an unfortunate fact that if you have 500 pokemons, 450 of them are going to be kind of useless and it makes me shy away from them.
